Assisting clinicians to assess the risk from a colorectal malignant polyp

using population wide data from Queensland, Australia

Colorectal Malignant Polyps are a treatment dilemma - should patients undergo colorectal resection or can they be safely managed with polypectomy alone?

Our Data

Using the data from the Queensland Oncology Repository, we aimed to improve the care of patients diagnosed with a colorectal malignant polyp. We have published extensively on the historical management of malignant polyps in Queensland, Australia. Using this big data, we have developed an online risk-calculator to help clinicians in explaining the risk posed by malignant polyps.
