GENERAL INFORMATION
This online risk calculator was developed as a collaboration between a team of clinicians based out of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and a team of pathologists based out of Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dr Andrew Zammit – lead researcher – is a General Surgical Registrar based at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Andrew is completing his PhD investigating the management of Colorectal Malignant Polyps. This risk calculator represents the culmination of 3 years of work to improve the management of malignant polyps.
Dr Yagiz Aksoy – is based in Sydney – and developed the underlying nomogram – which forms the basis of this calculator.
